Compassionate counseling for personal growth and healing.
Compassionate counseling for personal growth and healing.

At Reflections with Charity, my approach to women’s mental health counseling is grounded in empathy, empowerment, and evidence-based practices. I honor each woman’s story and walk alongside her in what matters most.

Life transitions can bring unique challenges- from career changes and motherhood to shifting roles and relationships. I offer a supportive space for women to explore these changes and reconnect with who they are becoming.

Women healing from relationship or religious trauma, including sexual abuse, deserve a compassionate, trauma-informed space to process their experiences. My practice centers on creating a safe, authentic connection where you feel seen, supported, and understood.
Together, we focus on restoring your sense of autonomy—helping you reclaim your voice, set healthy boundaries, and reconnect with your inner strength and values.

Many women struggle with people-pleasing, often prioritizing others while overlooking their own needs. My approach is grounded in compassion, helping you understand the deeper roots of these patterns and begin to create healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.

Charity has been featured by television stations and magazines, sharing insights on a variety of mental health topics. If you’re interested in having her speak at a community or business event, please reach out to learn more about availability and topics.
Person-Centered Therapy is a humanistic and evidenced-based approach to psychotherapy (better known as talk-therapy) that believes each person has the ability to reach their potential through personal growth and change. Person-Centered Therapy focuses on three components as the foundation.
Client-Centered: The client, and not the therapist is the expert in the client’s life. This therapy focuses on empowering the client to utilize their experiences and perspectives and guide the direction of conversation and healing.
Unconditional Positive Regard: The therapist accepts and values the client, without judgement. The focus of the therapist is on validating the client’s emotional experience.
Empathy/Congruence: The therapist is genuine and authentic with the client and focuses on building a professional relationship that’s built on trust and support. With empathy and trust as pillars, the client can explore their inner world in a safe environment.
Individual Sessions: 50-55 min/$150
Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the expected cost of your mental health care.
You can request this estimate at any time. It will outline the anticipated fees based on the number and frequency of sessions we discuss. Keep in mind that this is just an estimate- actual costs may vary depending on your needs and goals in therapy.
If you’d like a Good Faith Estimate or have questions, I’m happy to provide one.
In my experience, insurance companies can impose many restrictions in counseling that hinder a client’s choice and autonomy in therapy. However, if requested, I will provide you with a super bill that you may send to your insurance company for direct reimbursement. I encourage you to contact your insurance company about reimbursements rates for “out -of -network” providers.
